The Indian Ocean offers a refuge of serenity, calm and stunning beauty to be discovered during a swim in the lagoon, a boat outing or a diving trip into the deep blue. However, the marine environment is has been adversely affected by the dramatic population growth and industrialisation experienced on by most islands in the past few decades.
Coral reefs are biological ecosystems as diverse as tropical rain forests, but pollution has caused them to degrade worldwide at an alarmingly rapid rate.
There is an urgent need to manage the impact of tourism, which has led to drastic changes in the marine environment today. The Rainbow aims to preserve our Ocean environment for you and future generations, which is why we collaborate closely with the groups and government bodies set up to protect it and invite you to be part of the solution by participating in our Ocean activities.
